Of the 105 counties in Kansas, 16 counties contain more than one community hospital, 79 counties contain only one community hospital, and ten counties are without any community hospitals. The following counties do not have a hospital: Bourbon, Chase, Doniphan, Elk, Gray, Linn, Osage, Wabaunsee, Wallace and Woodson. Kansas has 122 community hospitals.
