Delivering the right care at the right time in the right setting is the core mission of Kansas hospitals. KHA is committed to helping our members improve the quality of care they deliver every day.
2011 Strategic Issues Quality and Patient Safety - Patient care that meets the highest standards of safety and quality - has been identified by the Kansas Hospital Association Board of Directors as one of five issue strategies for 2011. If you have questions regarding a quality or patient safety issue, contact Deborah Stern at (785) 233-7436.
In 2008, the Kansas Hospital Association and the Kansas Medical Society founded the Kansas Healthcare Collaborative. It is a provider-led organization dedicated to transforming health care through patient-centered initiatives that improve quality, safety and value. KHC embodies the commitment of KHA and KMS to act as a resource and continually enhance care provided to Kansans. One of KHC's guiding principles is that transforming health care should be led by those who provide care.
