Will providers be paid timely by KanCare contractors?
The contracts stipulate that providers must be paid within 30 days or KanCare companies will face significant financial penalties.
To further encourage timely claims, the State includes a pay for performance measure for contractors to process 100% of clean claims within 20 days.
