NATIONAL HOSPITAL WEEK - MAY 11-17, 2008
National Hospital Week focuses public attention on the many contributions hospitals make to their communities and is a traditional time for hospitals to recognize staff
and volunteers. NHW has been celebrated since 1921, when a magazine editor suggested that more information about hospitals might alleviate public fears about the "shrouded" institutions of the day. From that beginning, NHW has grown into the nation's largest health care event. This year's theme is "Where Healing Happens Every Day."
