Building Board Engagement: Generating Better Board Decisions – Nov. 9

Trustees Newsletter Hospital boards are faced with many challenges to be addressed. It is extremely tempting to dive directly into problem-solving mode without first taking the time to determine what a particular problem actually means for the hospital. But taking the time to consider problems from multiple perspectives has been correlated with exceptional organizational performance.

Join the Kansas Hospital Association for a Trustee Webinar on Thursday, Nov. 9, when Dottie Schindlinger, BoardEffect's governance technology evangelist, will provide an interactive session designed to help boards think in unique ways. Schindlinger will provide practical strategies to:

  • Re-frame problems and consider issues from multiple perspectives;
  • Practice generative thinking; and
  • Ensure opportunities for robust discussion in board meetings – allowing space for board members to be curious, intrigued and highly engaged.
