KAHCE Transforms to ACHE Chapter
The Kansas Association of Health Care Executives is an independent chapter of the American College of Health Care Executives. This allows the organization to provide locally developed Category 1 education opportunities and improve its value as a networking organization.
KAHCE's mission is to be the professional membership society for health care executives in Kansas; to meet its members' professional, educational and leadership needs; to promote high ethical standards and conduct; and to advance health care leadership and management excellence.

Category I ACHE Hours Offered Nov. 12, 2008
Successful patient safety programs protect patients and health care providers from preventable injury. Patient safety program implementation involves everyone from front line staff to senior management. Leadership behaviors, core organizational infrastructure components as well as best practices will be presented during this panel discussion. Participants will discover the mutually beneficial results to patients, staff, and the organization of an effective patient safety program.
