Leadership Fund
The Kansas Hospital Education and Research Foundation is undertaking an exciting initiative to establish a Leadership Fund. The Fund will support our efforts to:

    1. Improve the availability of a strong health care workforce in Kansas;
    2. Ensure leadership in the hospital field; and
    3. Identify and test new health delivery models.

The Kansas Hospital Education and Research Foundation ...

was established in 1969 and redesigned in 2000, is a 501(c)3 organization. The Foundation is designed to be funded through contributions, grants and educational fees. KHERF’s objectives are to identify, create and support projects and solutions that improve health delivery and support opportunities for education of Kansas hospitals leadership and personnel.

Vision and Values:
The Kansas Hospital Education and Research Foundation will be a recognized leader and partner in community-based health delivery solutions that work. To achieve this vision, we will provide:

Effective leadership: engaging others in identifying and supporting projects that inspire the improvement of health and health care delivery.

Shared knowledge: promoting the development and distribution of information through the support of research and education.

Leveraged resources: increasing the financial, human and social resources directed towards innovative health-related education and research.

Organization:
KHERF has a 13 member board of directors. KHA is the sole member of KHERF. Directors are KHA members and others who support the vision and values of the Foundation.
