KAHCE
An Independent Chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives
KAHCE TRANSFORMS TO ACHE CHAPTER
The Kansas Association of Health Care Executives is a provisional chapter of the American College of Health Care Executives. This allows the organization to provide locally developed Category 1 education opportunities and improve its value as a networking organization.
KAHCE’s mission is to be the professional membership society for health care executives in Kansas; to meet its members’ professional, educational and leadership needs; to promote high ethical standards and conduct; and, to advance health care leadership and management excellence.
If you would like more information on KAHCE, contact Joe Stratton, KAHCE President, or Melissa Hungerford, KHA liaison, at (785) 233-7436. You may also contact Rex Walk, ACHE Regent for information about ACHE.
KAHCE PROVIDED SUCCESS STRATEGIES
Fifty-one members of the Kansas Association of Health Care Executives participated in our first educational event as a new American College of Healthcare Executives chapter. “Developing High Performance Teams" and "Medical Staff Relations" were presented on May 17 for three hours of Category I ACHE credit at the Dole Veteran Administration Medical Center in Wichita. If you missed the educational session, we have duplicated the presentations for your convenience.
